Statu Quo was founded in 1984 in the bright coastal city of Nice. The brand first specialised in fine silver and gold jewellery, but soon expanded into high-end fashion pieces in response to the growing demand from boutiques.
Despite its success, Statu Quo always stayed true to its artisanal roots:
every piece was crafted in their own atelier in Nice.

Known for their poetic blend of materials — enamel, glass beads, Bohemian crystals, mother of pearl and natural stones — the brand released fresh, imaginative collections every season.
In 2024, founder Anne retired, closing a beautiful chapter of French boutique jewellery craftsmanship.
